The 2025 gradSERU Survey will launch on March 4, 2025!
The SERU Survey is UT Austin’s most comprehensive survey of student engagement and experience. The survey asks students about a variety of curricular and co-curricular topics, including research activity, financial experiences, campus climate and postgraduate career plans. The SERU survey aims to provide a holistic understanding of what it’s like to be a student at UT Austin, and the results from the survey are used by to improve programs and policies that impact the student experience.
UT Austin is part of the Student Experience in the Research University (SERU) Consortium, which includes peer universities such as the University of California System, the University of Michigan, the University of North Carolina, and the University of Virginia. There is both an undergraduate and graduate version of the SERU survey.

SERU Dashboards: Explore the Results
2024 Undergraduate SERU Dashboard
The 2024 Undergraduate SERU Survey Dashboard is now available to select stakeholders. To access the dashboard, you must sign the Data Use Agreement, which affirms your acknowledgement of the appropriate use and interpretation of the survey data in the SERU dashboard.
